A mural commissioned by the Power Coalition for Equity and Justice was unveiled Wednesday evening at the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity house in Shreveport.
The mural, titled "The Power of the Ballot," is by artist KaDavien Baylor. It features portraits of W.E.B. Du Bois, C.O. Simpkins, Martin Luther King Jr., Andrew Young and Thurgood Marshall.
